Spring

is the time of the year where everything starts all over again
trees go back to green, the flowers start to bloom, everything becomes more colourful and now that everything around me gets all new I am looking too.

So here are a few items that soon (hopefully very soon) will put a little spring in and around my closet.

I have been wandering around quite while until I found those boots , I am not much of heel person so it had to suit me ;) and it has nice details on the inside that you can fold out to add a little pattern ( flowery warm warm kind of motive) and the necklace would go pretty well with the boho chique kind of style I think.

My kitchen is very small so I need a table that is not to big and I really like the colour of this one and the simple style, to give it a little special something I would add some colour and of course some sweet details like that teapot which i have been looking for , for ages (simple things seem to be hard to find nowadays).

Well this is my little wish list for this spring lets see what will make it into my home sooner or later although i hope for sooner ;).

Some Kind of Wonderful

…isnt this how Sundays should be?
Calm, relaxed, snowy, cold with a lot time to watch a movie you haven’t seen in ages.

Well this is what I did, I felt pretty 80`s and since I love John Hughes ( Breakfast Club is on of my all time favorites) it had to be one of his movies. So I decided to watch “Some kind of wonderful” (1987), because I am in that kind of situation right now and because I like the way the girls used to dress or wear their hair and of course the music which is essential for every movie .

But the best thing about this movie is that we sometimes miss things that are right in front of us and that it tells us to look at OUR world from a different angle to see everything there really is to see and to appreciate things we may don’t appreciate anymore because they have become a sort of "routine" for us.

So keep your eyes open because everything can be some kind of wonderful if you just let it be!

Happy New Year!

I know this is late, and who am I wishing it to anyway?

Well I am wishing everyone a happy new year,
all those that had it easy with the last one and all those that had a hard time.

To be honest I dont know to which category I belong,
because on the one hand there was nothing that felt
really easy everything was kind of work.

On the other hand there are so many memories that make me smile,
so many people, friends, moments and all those other things that
sparkle up your life that I would have to say the last year was awesome.

But I guess it is the mixture of the hard and the easy things.
So lets hope this year will have a bit of both yet with a bit
more of the easy and sooo good moments.


Do I have a new years resolution ?

... uhm no...I will just try to become a reliable blogger in terms
of posting regurlary and worth the read.

because I hope they will bloom...

and because you need something precious every now and than...

Something I felt like saying

a Book my best friend gave me for christmas, the drawings are simple but so pure, it is a true story about friendship, without pointing a finger...

So why do people blog? Why do I blog? ...

Right now I just finished a talk with a very special friend, if not my most special friend. But this is not the answer to my question , the truth is I feel like blogging because I feel like sharing. In a world where everyone seems to be able to get a look at you why dont we let them see whats really true, why are we unable to let them see who we really are? ...

So here is a true look at me, like I said I just finished a talk with a friend I havent really been talking to for a long long time. And we shared many thoughts that havent been outspoken, things we have had to say, tears we have had to cry and laughs we have had to laugh. While we were talking I just realised how I missed that. How important it is to have someone you can truely talk to and share your feelings with and how precious that is ! Because when I look at it closely there are not many people I can share myself with in that way and I think that today it seems to be rare to share something that goes that deep. And most important of all i realised how important it is to really speak what is on your heart to admit how much you care and allow poeple to see that you need them.

So what I would like to say is, that love and a true caring friends are the most precious gifts life has for us and that we should never forget that. That we should not try to sell a certain image to the world but that we should try to let them see a true me or (in your case dear reader )a true you. Be you and let you friends know that they do mean a lot to you.

This ended up quite cheesy, but sometimes i just happen to be that way.

Well this will be my first "Blog" ...and what will it be about?

It will be about one of the greatest artists of today (well atleast for me)! Joshua Radin is amazing , a true artist and his music just touches you while your not even noticing it you find yourself lost in musical dream. His words are not big or bold they are soft and gentle.

The picture is from his concert here in Hamburg which was amazing, it was in a small club the atmosphere was very intimate and it felt like he was singing in "my" living room...
